Poem: The Perfect Mask

What's the perfect mask?

It covers my mouth
It covers my nose
It's a welcome layer
When the winter wind blows

It's my ticket to dance class,
The movies, the store
It obscures our faces
But I don't care anymore

What's the perfect mask?

First, it was one mask
Then, it was two
Now with omicron
N95 will do

The perfect mask
Doesn't chafe my ears
It's a step I take
To allay our fears

The uncertainty and changes
Aren't too much to bear
The perfect mask
Is the one that I wear
