When I remember
I love fruits and vegetables
My day is easy

About the poem:
Sometimes I’m just too dang lazy to pick up a knife, but sometimes I’m not. Like  today, when I cut a peach and an avocado, and threw it in with some fresh salsa that I’d made earlier in the week (cilantro, lime, tomatoes and peppers). The combo was beautiful to the eye, tasted incredible and fueled my body. Really, there is nothing I love to eat more than fresh fruits and vegetables.
What is a Haiku?
A short poem with five syllables in line 1, then seven syllables in line 2, then five syllables in line 3. Â The structure forces the writer to say something briefly in a rhythm that generally feels good!
